- Website URLs you check: When you use a tool such as the WordPress Theme Detector, we fetch the public page you enter. The result is cached for 12 hours so repeat checks load faster. We keep an anonymous count of how often each theme is detected. We do not store page content.
- IP address: Your IP address is used in hashed form for up to one hour to limit abuse of our tools. It is not linked to your identity.
- Contact form: If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, and message, and use them only to reply.
- Log data: Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
Cookies and Advertising
UncoverWP uses cookies to run the site and to show ads.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
